The Role

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with US GAAP, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring all journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments are completed accurately and on time.
• Review and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with accounting standards.
• Research and apply US GAAP accounting principles to complex transactions and provide technical accounting guidance to the team.
• Collaborate with the external auditors during audits and reviews, preparing necessary documentation and resolving inquiries.
• Maintain and improve internal controls over financial reporting processes to ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
• Support intercompany accounting, consolidation, and eliminations in multi-entity structures.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives in financial reporting to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Y our Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA good to have
• 5+ years of experience in accounting with a focus on US GAAP reporting; experience in public accounting or a publicly traded company is highly preferred.
• Proven expertise in US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Workday) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to non-financial stakeholders.
