Responsibilities
Operate Production Equipment: Efficiently run and monitor machinery in the corrugated and foam production areas.
Unitize and Palletize Products: Secure and organize finished products at the end of the machine and prepare them for transport.
Manage Scrap Material: Strip and remove scrap from foam sheets and boxes; operate a band saw; bale scrap material.
Documentation: Create and apply tags (Amtech) to loads and complete necessary quality and production reports.
Assist Operators: Provide support to machine operators and other team members to ensure smooth production.
Foam Department Tasks: Assist with machine operation, product manipulation, and team-based assembly work in the foam department.
Maintain Cleanliness and Safety: Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Physical Labor: Perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and standing, both indoors and outdoors.
Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors to support production goals.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
Technical Skills: Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications; proficient in taking measurements in both metric and imperial systems.
Safety Awareness: Knowledge of and commitment to safe work practices.
Physical Ability: Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
Teamwork: Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Attention to Detail: Highly organized, quality-conscious
