Contract 15-Months
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Global Sourcing Assistant to join our team in Montréal. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to learn and grow in a global sourcing and procurement environment.
In this role, you’ll support the day-to-day activities of our sourcing team and help ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
What you’ll do:
Help maintain strong relationships with our international suppliers
Assist with gathering procurement needs from different departments
Provide support in preparing purchase orders, contracts, and other sourcing documents
Help research new suppliers and learn how to assess their capabilities
Support the team in tracking supplier performance and updating internal databases
Contribute to preparing reports and presentations related to sourcing activities
Collaborate with logistics to help ensure timely delivery of goods
Learn about trade compliance and help ensure we’re following all guidelines
Take part in cost-saving and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
1-3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
Strong communication skills, both in English and French
Good attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
Basic understanding of supply chain principles and sourcing practices
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Experience with ERP systems is a plus
Willing to occasionally travel for supplier meetings or conferences
