Job Description

As a Low Carbon Energy BD Advisor you will leverage your experience to support management and business strategy development, policy research, overseas investment, and project management related to low-carbon energy.

Description

* Identify business development opportunities and contribute to client acquisition efforts
* Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement and delivery of high-value consulting solutions
* Contribute to sales pipeline development by creating and presenting compelling project proposals
* Develop management and business strategies for private companies and international organizations
* Conduct research on industry trends and up-to-date overseas regulations and systems for both domestic and international private companies, as well as international organizations
* Support overseas investments for private companies
* Conduct research and provide policy recommendations related to low-carbon energy for government agencies (e.g., METI, MOE, JOGMEC, NEDO), including secretariat support
* Conduct expert interviews, prepare documentation and presentations, and engage in client discussions
* Manage projects and ensure successful delivery (applicable to manager level and above)
* Prepare proposals for private companies and government agencies (applicable to manager level and above)
* Train and mentor team members (applicable to manager level and above)

Profile

A successful Energy BD Advisor should have:

* At least 2 years' experience in consulting or corporate sustainability/business strategy with a focus on low-carbon energy.
* Proven skills in management strategy, policy research, feasibility studies, or project management within energy transition.
* Excellent documentation and presentation skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
* Fluent-level Japanese proficiency is essential.
* For senior roles: experience in team training and external client engagement.
* Preferred: experience in hydrogen, CCS/CCUS, SAF technologies,
* English business-level proficiency, and financial expertise related to low-carbon energy.
