About The Role The Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Analyst will be responsible for developing, configuring and maintaining EDI solutions using the CData Arc platform.
They will work closely with internal and external partners and technology teams to ensure seamless data interchange, optimize transaction flows and meet compliance and security standards.

What You Will Be Doing - Design, configure and deploy EDI transactions, workflows and mappings within the CData Arc platform.
- Managing day-to-day operations of existing EDI processes, ensuring message accuracy, timely communication and efficient data flow.
- Ensure that data flows and is processed within our ERP platform consistently.
- Developing and maintaining data mapping, translation and integration frameworks between EDI formats (e.g. X12, Edifact, XML, JSON, CSV) and internal business systems (ERP, CRM, WMS, etc.).
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure EDI data is consumed correctly by downstream applications and data repositories.
- Coordinate with trading partners to clarify requirements, test data exchanges and verify successful integrations. Managing setup and onboarding of new trading partners and maintain existing partner relationships.
- Proactively monitoring EDI transactions to detect errors and anomalies.
- Investigating, troubleshooting and resolving EDI-related issues (e.g. failed transactions, mapping errors, trading-partner connectivity problems).
- Identifying process improvement opportunities within the EDI ecosystem, proposing enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
- Working with relevant business units to streamline end-to-end business processes (e.g. order to cash, procure to pay) via EDI.
- Creating and maintain comprehensive documentation or EDI processes, system configuration and transaction flows. Training and support end users and other internal teams on Edi functionality, best practices and the CData Arc platform.
What You Will Bring - Minimum three to five years of experience is required for this role, including experience with CData Arc .
- Experience using Arc connectors for file-based, API-based, or direct integrations.
- Experience configuring Arc flows, dashboards and monitoring capabilities.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure) or containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) for deploying EDI solutions.
- Working knowledge of food and meat plant regulatory standards (CFIA, etc.), GMP, HACCP, BRC, food safety, food quality, etc. is an advantage.
- An analytical mindset, with problem-identification and problem-solving capabilities;
