Oakridge Landscape Contractors is looking for a Landscape Construction Superintendent to take charge of our exciting residential projects in Hamilton. Pay: $95,000 annually + Benefits after 3 months.

Your Role: As the Landscape Construction Superintendent, you will lead and manage the day-to-day operations of our residential landscape construction projects. You’ll be the key figure in supervising crews, ensuring projects stay on track, and keeping clients satisfied.

  • Coordinate and oversee all landscape construction activities to meet project deadlines and budgets.
  • Direct field personnel to ensure high-quality work and timely project completion.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, addressing concerns and providing updates and walkthroughs.
  • Manage project documentation, including timesheets and field reports.
  • Supervise laborers, forepersons, and sub-contractors, tracking performance and productivity.
  • Resolve conflicts, whether between employees or clients, professionally and efficiently.
  • Lead daily safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Oversee material delivery schedules and track inventory to keep projects moving smoothly.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of proven experience in Construction, particularly in landscape projects.
  • College Diploma or Degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred).
  • Strong experience in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, and job safety.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and supervise crews effectively.
  • Experience in managing snow removal operations and willingness to handle winter hours.
  • First-Aid certification is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
