Salary: Level 7 – $79,558.30 to $93,071.95 annually

Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Finance and Administration, and reporting to the Administration & Information Manager, the Network Technician provides hands on assistance in the areas of information and communication technology (ICT), following documented procedures checklists. The role of the Network Technician is to deal with hands-on support tasks, such as installing and configuring new hardware, dealing with hardware failures, network failures, internet connectivity, and managing equipment. The Network Technician also assists with information and communication technology help desk requests in coordination with the IT team.
Education and Experience:
Incumbent should possess a high school diploma (GED equivalent), with some post-secondary education in computer equipment (or related field), along with extensive personal experience working with personal computers. Must have previous help desk experience; experience working with telecommunication equipment and Microsoft training (MSC) would be an asset.
Conditions of Employment:
A valid Yukon Class 5 driver’s license
Clear Criminal Record Check
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently
Willingness to work evenings and/or weekends, as required
Extended workdays may be required to accomplish tasks and meet workload demands during peak periods, as directed
