Job Description

The Electricity Forum is looking for an experienced AI Web Programmer to integrate AI-powered API functions into our website. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AI-driven web automation, specifically in configuring AI to dynamically assemble web pages based on user search queries. This system will intelligently pull and organize content from our existing web pages, incorporating relevant advertising in a seamless and effective manner.

Candidates must have a solid understanding of web technologies, including PHP 8, Javascript/HTML5/CSS.

The Electricity Forum is a unique organization that contributes to the North American electrical industry as a leading source of innovative information and educational platforms, through our magazine publishing, live online forum/electrical technical training and digital activities.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and configure AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Google Gemini, or similar) into our website
• Develop and optimize AI-driven web page assembly based on real-time search queries
• Ensure AI-generated content aligns with SEO best practices and user intent

Qualifications:

• Proven experience integrating AI APIs into websites
• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, and relevant web frameworks
• Familiarity with AI-based content generation, NLP, and search query interpretation
• Experience with database management and structured content retrieval
• Understanding of SEO principles and AI-driven content optimization
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced digital environment

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work with OpenAI, Google Gemini, AWS AI, or similar AI services
• Experience in automating dynamic content assembly for websites
• Familiarity with advertising integration within AI-generated content
• Knowledge of cloud-based AI deployment and API rate limits
