The Role

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
• Implement and maintain U.S. SOX compliance frameworks.
• Ensure adherence to U.S. GAAP and local accounting standards.
• Collaborate with the U.S. finance and audit teams to support internal controls and compliance initiatives.
• Manage and mentor a small accounting team in Japan.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and audit documentation.

Your Skills

• Fully bilingual in Japanese and English (verbal and written).
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance requirements.
• Experience in a U.S. public company or public accounting firm preferred.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with global teams.
• Immediate availability preferred.
