AB required to join a Research Survey vessel operating out of North Wales.
This a permanent position.
Candidates should hold the following:
– AB CoC, along with Nav Watch Rating certificate.
– Basic STCW’s at a minimum, however it would be desirable if candidates held Advanced Fire Fighting, Fast Rescue Boat & Medical First Aid.
– Fishing and trawling experience would be helpful as this is a hands-on role.
– Crane driving experience needed.
General work arrangements will be 1/1 under a UK contract.
Usual deployments are anywhere from 4-8 weeks with layup in between voyages which are also required to be covered. During layup 1 x AB and 1 x Engineer are onboard only.
Travel covered. 183 days’ vacation. Financial bonuses after completing 6 months and after first year.
Salary: £24,500.
