Your Role

As the Accounting Intern, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing general accounting support to the crop inputs accounting department. 

Day to Day

• Prepare, process and code invoices
• Reconcile supplier accounts
• Communicate with country locations to resolve accounting discrepancies
• Provide backup and support for crop inputs accounts payable clerks 

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program with a focus on agribusiness, business, accounting and/or finance.
• Previous experience working in an office environment is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, as well as contribute to a team.
• Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Application Suite (Word, Excel).
