Hybrid : This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Oshawa Elevation Centre / Markham Elevation Centre 3 times per week, at minimum [or other frequency dictated by the business].

The Role:
General Motors is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student to join our team as a Digital Performance Media Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in digital marketing, data analysis, and understanding the performance of online advertising campaigns. The Student - Digital Performance Media Analyst will assist the team in collecting, analyzing, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) across various digital media channels. This role will provide hands-on experience in a fast-paced digital environment and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Assist in the collection and organization of data from various digital advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, social media advertising platforms, email marketing platforms).
Support the creation of regular performance reports, dashboards, and presentations summarizing key metrics and trends.
Help identify areas for improvement in campaign performance based on data analysis.
Assist in the tracking and analysis of website analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) to understand user behavior and campaign effectiveness.
Learn to analyze campaign data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
Assist with competitive analysis by researching and reporting on competitor digital marketing activities.
Support the team with ad-hoc data requests and analysis.
Contribute to the documentation of processes and best practices related to media performance analysis.
Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and media analytics.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on campaign performance and strategy.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a college or university program in Marketing, Business Administration, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Strong interest in digital marketing, advertising, and data analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (experience with data manipulation and basic formulas is a plus).
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to organize and manage data effectively.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
