What You'll Do

We're on the lookout for a creative problem solver. Someone who can look at the project in front of them, empathize with the end-user, define the problems and develop solutions. From websites and logo projects to ad creative and e-books, you'll have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients from all over the U.S. and an award-winning team at BigPxl (we're also pretty fun to hang out with as well.)

What You're Day-to-Day Looks Like

  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Team to define and implement innovative solutions for the creative direction, visuals, and experience.
  • Execute all ux/ui design stages from concept to implementation including Information Architecture, Wireframing, Defining Style Guides, Mockups, Prototypes and mobile/tablet layouts.
  • Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks
  • Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and clients
  • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards
  • Conceptualize and implement logo design and brand development for clients of all sizes
  • Create ads that are optimized for social media
  • Create Display Advertisements
  • Design e-books and other lead magnets to support our marketing campaigns
  • Design and build emails in a variety of CRMs that inform and encourage action

The Qualifications

  • A strong portfolio. Great work and a great attitude will trump experience every time.
  • 2+ Years of Graphic Design experience in a professional setting, working with clients
  • 2+ Years of web design experience in a professional setting, working with clients
  • Thorough understanding of the Adobe Suite including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, XD.
  • Excellent knowledge of Figma, including styles and prototyping
  • Associates or Bachelor Degree in Design, Art, or Marketing preferred, but not required
  • Ability to effectively and concisely present your designs and sell your solutions to peers and clients
  • A clear understanding of brand research and development
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
  • Up-to-date with the latest marketing trends, techniques, and technologies

Bonus Qualifications

  • Front-End Development Knowledge and/or Experience
  • Photography, Video, and/or Animation Experience
  • HubSpot Marketing and Sales Hub Knowledge
  • Understanding and knowledge of social media and PPC advertising
  • Understanding of SEO Best Practices
