Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker at a glass factory. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by efficiently handling shipping and receiving tasks, order picking, and maintaining an organized work environment. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment such as reach trucks and forklifts safely and efficiently (training will be provided).
• Package glass products securely for shipment, adhering to company standards.
• Assist in heavy lifting and moving of materials throughout the warehouse as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Mechanical knowledge or skills related to equipment maintenance can be beneficial (training will be provided).
• Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is highly desirable.
• A team player with strong communication skills who can adapt to changing priorities in a busy environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
