We are currently on the lookout for a new addition to our Bulk Team.

Our Cornwall, ON distribution center supplies automotive parts and accessories to stores across Ontario and Quebec. The Warehouse Bulk Associate role is critical in supporting these essential businesses as they are responsible for processing, handling and picking some of our heaviest and largest inventory.

Wage: $17. 50/hr (with salary premiums available for forklift certification and hours worked after 4:30pm).

A successful candidate has excellent communication and time management skills, is self-motivated, enthusiastic, has a strong work ethic, and will also have:

  • Proven ability to work unsupervised and independently;
  • Strong commitment to be a team player, build trust and be accountable;
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a time-sensitive and fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines;
  • Aptitude in basic writing and mathematics;
  • Be comfortable with frequent heavy lifting
  • Previous warehouse experience is an asset, but not required;
  • Knowledge of automotive parts is an asset, but not required;
  • Forklift experience is an asset, but not required

The Warehouse Bulk Associate position is a physical role that requires walking and/or standing for the length of a shift in addition to lifting, receiving, restocking and picking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Unload pallets / skids
  • Verify product received matches order (product type, quantities, etc.)
  • Perform spot-check quality control of received product prior to placing in inventory (report any damaged product received to Supervisor)
  • Accurately and efficiently stock shelves
  • Maintain inventory ratios, placing excess product into overstock when necessary
  • Follow daily inventory control procedures and participate in inventory counts when needed.
  • Accurately and efficiently pull product for daily shipment distribution
  • Maintain records of items picked and submitted to the Packing Department
  • May be required to operate forklift and/or other lifting or towing devices (training will be provided)
  • Other duties as assigned
