Our growing company is searching for top talent to join our team in the role of a Veterinarian, reporting to the Sr. Manager of Animal Health. This opportunity is located in the community of Steinbach, MB.

Your days will include:

• Performing herd health visit, Export visits and CPE validations
• Disease prevention, control and eradication
• Developing and implementing meds and vaccine protocols
• Developing and implementing testing protocol
• Analyzing of lab results and response
• Supporting the production team on farms performance. production analysis and improvements
• Supporting the development, communication and implementation of animal health, biosecurity and welfare SOPs
• Assisting with the development of training material and perform training of employees on various swine health, welfare, biosecurity and swine management topics
• Other tasks as assigned

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

• Diploma in Veterinary Medicine and ability to be licensed in Manitoba (if not currently)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of diseases and laboratory analyses
• Experience in swine practice is an asset
• Ability to lead and work in team
• Valid driver’s license
