Job Description
The
UX Designer/Interaction Designer will be responsible for transforming business needs and product requirements into user-focused, intuitive, and engaging digital experiences . The ideal candidate will have experience in FinTech, responsive web design (RWD), and user research methodologies . This role requires expertise in interaction design, information architecture, usability testing, and accessibility standards , while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile delivery environment . Key Responsibilities - User Experience & Interaction Design:
- Transform complex business needs into user-friendly digital interfaces.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI mockups.
- Design experiences for both mobile and web platforms, ensuring responsive and accessible UI designs.
- Stay updated with UX trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- User Research & Usability Testing:
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations to optimize designs.
- Leverage analytics and behavioral insights to refine UX strategies.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and product teams to align designs with business objectives.
- Information Architecture & Accessibility:
- Develop user flows, navigation models, and wireframes to improve usability.
- Ensure designs comply with WCAG accessibility standards and follow inclusive design principles.
- Conduct A/B testing and iterative design improvements based on feedback and data.
- Agile Delivery & Design Collaboration:
- Work within Agile teams, actively participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
- Communicate design rationale effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with UI developers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure seamless implementation.
Required Qualifications - Experience & Industry Knowledge:
- 5+ years of UX/UI design experience, preferably in FinTech or enterprise applications.
- Strong understanding of responsive web design (RWD) principles.
- Hands-on experience with user research methodologies, analytics, and usability testing.
- Technical & Design Skills:
- Expertise in interaction design, information architecture, and visual communication.
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, and Axure for wireframing and prototyping.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (not coding but understanding development constraints).
- Strong grasp of accessibility (WCAG), inclusive design, and human-centered design principles.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders in Agile environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with FinTech applications and financial services platforms.
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
- Background in AI-driven UI/UX design.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $32.36/hour - $50.56/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
