Job Description

Summary
The Transposer Operator ensures safe, efficient operation, cleaning of and running adjustments for the machine.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
Rolls reel to jack and places on cradle bobbin holders and welds copper wire ends together to feed through machine
Sets up machine per order requirements, frequently checking machining process for accuracy
Uses and reads micrometers to measure wire, while monitoring processes and controls to assure quality
Properly fills out labels, places completed reel in designated location and communicates with supervisors & associates.
Maintains cleanliness of area
Education Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum Experience Required
Entry level
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required
Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions
Ability to use and read micrometers to measure wire. Complete paperwork, record and enter data
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors & associates
Ability to follow plant work rules, work instructions, safety rules and established processes, procedures & practices
Maintains cleanliness of area
Ability to use tools including wire cutters, pliers, wrenches, hammer, micrometers, and computer
Computer Equipment And Software Requirements
Inputs information into computer
