Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain test strategy, test plans, and test scenarios.Lead end-to-end testing activities including functional and non-functional testing
• Collaborate with application owners, test managers, and UAT teams to ensure alignment
• Oversee the full test cycle: planning, preparation, execution, and reporting
• Serve as the central point of contact for test environment management
• Coordinate with environment teams to ensure test environments are current and stable
• Demonstrate test coverage and secure client sign-off
• Manage continuous automation for SIT and regression testing
• Publish daily and weekly status reports, track risks and issues to closure
• Review business requirements and identify defects early in the lifecycle
• Guide test team members on insurance-related projects and ensure test data provisioning
• Talk to native Japanese stake holders and plan all test activities 

Requirements

• 10–12+ years of experience in test management, preferably in insurance domains
• Proven track record of delivering high-value projects involving multi-core applications
• Deep understanding of life insurance processes: policy quote, origination, claims, underwriting, and administration
• Minimum JLPT N3 certification
• Certifications such as LOMA 290/301 and Japanese insurance credentials are a plus
• Proficiency in tools like Azure, ALM, Jira, Confluence
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage project milestones, planning, and financials
• Familiarity with the latest testing tools and best practices
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese is mandatory
