Job Summary

 

Technician – Clinical Laboratories


As a Technician for our Clinical Laboratories team at the Senneville location, you will perform technical activities and follows directives from the study/phase plan and the SOP.

 

In this role, primary  responsibilities include:

 

  • Perform the preparation and the analysis of samples;
  • Perform the quality control procedure and maintenances on the different instruments;
  • Perform the activities in a timely fashion by adhering to preset schedules;
  • Ensure the integrity of the studies and fulfill the regulatory agencies requirements by performing the activities according to the GLP, SOP and health and safety rules.

Key Elements

 

We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role :

 

  • College diploma in science;
  • Relevant experience is an asset;
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above;
  • Reading and writing English is required. Bilingualism is preferred;
  • Ability to work under time constraint and adapt to change;
  • Demonstrate flexibility and ability to work independently.

 


Role Specific Information:

 

 

  • Location : 22022 route Transcanadienne, Senneville, QC, H9X 1C1;
  • Transportation : We offer a free shuttle service from the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue train station and John Abbott College to the Senneville site. Free parking. Electric vehicle charging station;
  • Salary : 20.50 $/per hour, evening premiums and opportunity to start at higher level and higher salary with specific research experience;
  • Schedule : Monday to Friday (3h PM-11h15PM) after 3-6 months of training from (8h AM-4h15 PM);
  • Annual bonus based on performance;
  • Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week.

About Safety Assessment
Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance. From individual specialty toxicology and IND enabling studies to tailored packages and total laboratory support, our deeply experienced team can design and execute programs that anticipate challenges and avoid roadblocks for a smooth, efficient journey to market.
