As the company continues to expand, they are seeking a skilled Tax Accountant to join their fully remote, international finance team.

Position Summary

• The Remote Tax Accountant will be responsible for ensuring global tax compliance, managing tax reporting processes, and supporting international tax strategies. This is an ideal opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys working autonomously in a fast-paced, cross-border environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review corporate income tax returns and indirect tax filings
• Ensure timely and accurate tax compliance in multiple jurisdictions
• Support quarterly and annual tax provision processes
• Liaise with external advisors during tax audits and inquiries
• Monitor changes in global tax regulations and evaluate impacts on operations
• Partner with internal departments on tax matters for expansion projects and new business initiatives
• Contribute to tax process improvements and automation efforts

Qualifications

• Professional certification preferred (e.g., CPA, Nissho Boki or Zeirishi)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in tax accounting, ideally in a multinational company or Big 4 firm
• Strong understanding of international tax compliance and reporting standards
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
