Responsibilities

  • Ownership of manufacturing processes related the production of heat shrink tubing and thermoplastic extrusions. 
  • Perform root cause investigations and execute corrective actions for non-conforming products using analytical tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, and 8D.
  • Write technical documentation, such as process instructions, process validation plans and reports, process development plans and reports, and non-conforming material reports.
  • Execute process validation activities following the IQ, OQ, and PQ approach.
  • Lead cost reduction projects in cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate effectively with others across the organization to collectively achieve business objectives related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC). 
  • Communicate effectively through written, verbal, non-verbal, and visual methods.
  • Adhere to quality and compliance standards to ensure safe and effective use of the products TE manufactures.

What your background should look like:

  • 8 years of experience supporting a manufacturing environment with a Bachelor's Degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience. 
  • Track record of project completions that deliver business results
  • Experience with polymer processing (extrusion, molding, etc.) required. 
  • Medical device manufacturing experience is a plus

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $119,900 - $179,800 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
