In this position, we will optimize the end-to-end supply chain by improving demand forecasting accuracy, streamlining the procurement process, promoting the use of new technologies, and pursuing operation automation.
It is a position that has received a very high level of attention at Amazon, and since it is a position that has a large impact on the entire business, person with excellent analytical ability, strategy formation, project management, and execution are required.
Key job responsibilities
膨大な過去実績データの評価・検証を通じて、改善に向けた戦略を立案します。実行にあたっては、営業担当と共に取引先の経営層との商談に参加し、強力なパートナーシップを確立・維持を通じて中長期課題も含めて改善に合意し、中心となって活動を推進します。また、グローバルのセントラルチームが主導する新機能やテクノロジーの導入、自部門取引先による利用を推進します。
This role formulates strategies for improvement through evaluation and verification of vast amounts of past performance data. When it comes to execution, this role participates in business negotiations with the management of business partners together with sales representatives, agree on improvements, including medium- to long-term problems, through establishing and maintaining strong partnerships, and take the lead in promoting activities. This role will also promote the introduction of new functions and technologies led by our global central team and their use by our own business partners.
A day in the life
どれだけお客様の需要に対して在庫を確保出来ているか、過剰在庫が発生しているかを様々な角度からモニタリングすることを通じて、課題を特定しその改善を積極的に立案します。チームメンバーへのヒアリングやグローバルチームとの協業を通じて、適切な改善プランをデザインし、迅速に実行します。
Through monitoring from various angles how much inventory has been secured in response to customer demand and whether excess inventory has occurred, this role identifies issues and makes improvement plan. Through collaborations with team members and global teams, this role needs to design appropriate improvement plans and execute them quickly.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products
- Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English is required
