Position Sr. .NET Web Developer

Location Madison, WI (Mostly remote)

NOTE: Candidates must be CURRENT WI residents.

Tasks

Application design and development
Integration with 3rd party internal and external systems
Database technology migration from Oracle to Azure SQL and data conversion
Building and maintaining cloud computing environments
Analysis of legacy code and logical requirements
Advising on and executing documentation, unit testing, and cross testing best practices

Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent analytical / problem solving skills

Skills Required

2 years - Experience as a lead developer in a large application development project, preferably involving modernization of technology, as well as working with a cross functional team to redesign and simplify UX and workflows to meet modern application design standards, using a material design library and component framework, such as MudBlazor
2 years - .NET expert with extensive experience using ASP.NET Core v6-8
1+ year - Experience in Azure SQL cloud database solution
1 year - Experience with GitHub distributed version control and using GitHub actions to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Experience / demonstrated success in designing, creating, and maintaining web services, system integrations, web development, and highly complex online transaction processing (OLTP).8 years - Experience in Technical Writing and Documentation
8 years - Web and client-server application development experience, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, implementation, and support
8 years - Experience evaluating and recommending programming languages, design tools and applications
5 years - Experience with change management
8 years - Experience with Structured Analysis and Design of Web and Client-Server applications for both transactional and batch applications
5 years - SQL client tools / SQL Server experience
