DESCRIPTION

As Prime Video Japan Sports continues to grow its portfolio, we are currently seeking a Contents Marketing Manager to manage our live sports contents marketing for properties such as NBA, Boxing, or MLB. This role will be responsible for developing and executing paid and social marketing to expand our sports audiences and engage with our current audiences. You will work closely with our Contents Acquisition team, PR team, Creative team, Internal Merchandising team, and global Prime Video Sports team, in addition to sports licensors and advertising agencies.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead the marketing strategy and go-to-market plans for Prime Video sports across all channels (e.g. TVCM, Digital, Social, etc) working in close collaboration with Creative teams, agencies and marketing platforms in region.
- Present marketing strategy and share ongoing performance updates with senior leadership.
- Analyze consumer insights of sports fans, understand competitor landscape and become the subject matter expert for sports marketing in Prime Video Japan.
- Establish and manage launch timelines, including ensuring appropriate processes, procedures, forms and tracking are established with internal and external stakeholders, to maintain scheduled campaign delivery.
- Work with internal Creative teams, external partners, and property licensors to develop creative assets.
- Manage marketing operation including social posting operations, owned marketing assets delivery, and view page launch setup.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 8+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Speak, write, and read fluently in Japanese
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Experience building and executing marketing/communications/media strategy with clear goals to align with business objectives
- Proven project management and time management skills with the ability to operate successfully in a rapidly changing, ambiguous, and fast paced environment
- Experience anticipating and effectively mitigating problems
- A team player with a successful track record of collaborating across teams to deliver business results
