As a Senior Benefits Analyst , you will play a vital role in supporting our client’s group benefits consultant by managing financial reporting, analyzing plan performance, and ensuring the highest level of service for clients. You will collaborate with a team of professionals, handle complex benefits plans, and contribute to innovative solutions that enhance client satisfaction and optimize outcomes.

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive strategic impact – Perform annual renewal analysis and negotiate with carriers to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
  • Analyze and optimize benefits plans – Conduct experience reporting, budget projections, and plan performance reviews.
  • Shape the future of benefits – Contribute to the design and management of group medical, dental, life, disability, and special risk benefits.
  • Provide expert guidance – Conduct market analyses, compare costs, and make strategic recommendations.
  • Ensure seamless execution – Assist with carrier/product implementations and review benefit booklets and contracts for accuracy.
  • Be a trusted partner – Build strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal teams to drive success.

Requirements

What You Bring to the Team:

  • 5+ years of experience in group benefits with a deep understanding of the Canadian benefits landscape.
  • Financial acumen – Strong analytical skills and experience in benefits underwriting and financial reporting.
  • Tech-savvy mindset – Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Attention to detail – Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Collaboration & communication – A team player who thrives in both independent and cross-functional environments.
  • Discretion & professionalism – Sensitivity to confidential information and a commitment to integrity.
