• Engage in strategic IT consulting for major Japanese and global enterprises   The role targets professionals with backgrounds in Japanese system integrators or global consulting firms, capable of engaging directly with CIO-level clients in high-impact discussions and proposals.
• Leverage deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, LLMs, Cloud) to drive digital transformation   While hands-on development is not required, the position requires strong understanding of modern tech trends to lead solution design and transformation planning from a high-level, consultative perspective.

Annual Salary: 10 million and above

Qualifications :

• 12 to 20 years of experience in IT, starting as a Programmer and progressing to Architect, System Engineer, or Technical Project Manager. More than experience, maturity is important to stand up in front of CIOs and IT Leadership to discuss, present and negotiate with sales team.
• Strong exposure to Client/Server, Web, and Cloud technologies. Current hands-on development is not required, but the ability to leverage past experience to understand and consult on technology solutions is essential.
• Knowledge of AI, Transformer Architecture, LLMs/SLMs, and AI trends is a significant advantage.
• Experience working in consultative roles performing As-Is/To-Be assessments and Digital Transformation planning is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in pre-sales, solution consulting, or advisory roles involving proposal creation, estimation, and client presentations

Industry Background:

• Must have worked in the last 5 years for a Japanese System Integrator , Global Consulting Firm (PwC, Deloitte, EY, Abeam, Accenture) , or Indian Offshore Service Providers (TCS, Wipro, HCL, TechM, Infosys) . Candidates who had always worked for end user companies will not be a right fit due to expectations of consultative and multi-clients focus
• Experience working with large Japanese enterprises clients and understanding of the Japanese technology and business culture .

Skills & Attributes:

• Native Japanese language skills for all client-facing communication.
• Business-level English proficiency for internal collaboration and documentation. English is our ‘Oxygen’ for communication
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Should be able to present to CIOs and IT Leadership
• High-level understanding of AI, Digital Transformation, and Cybersecurity trends and how they impact enterprise IT.
• Ability to think strategically and consultatively, beyond just technical details.
• Passionate, proactive, and committed to building long-term client relationships.

Education :

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputed university in Japan . Postgraduate education is a plus but not mandatory.
