Ground Missile Defense \(GMD\) is the heart of the Missile Defense System and a key element of our nation's defense against ballistic missile attacks\. The GMD Weapon System \(GWS\) processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat\. **The Work** In this role, you will work in a collaborative environment working internal model framework development, internal tactical to model conversion, supporting application development and translation of coding languages for modernization efforts\. Learn more about Lockheed Martin's comprehensive benefits package here\! \( \#rmshotmiljobs **Basic Qualifications:** - Active Secret Clearance - Bachelor's Degree in STEM related field and minimum 2 years of related experience - Working knowledge of any of the following: C\+\+, GoLang, Cython, Bash, Javascript, SQL, MongoDB - Recent Experience in GMD GS/GWS Model Development - Experience in developing code in a Dev Ops environment using Bitbucket or GitHub - Experience working in an Agile environment - Experience in both Windows and Unix OS environments - Must be able to support an in\-person / closed\-area work environment\. - Recent GWS Program experience **Desired Skills:** - Computer Science Bachelor's Degree - Experience with Ada, MATLAB, Rust - Experience with Integrated risk management - Experience with requirements development/collaboration - Exposure to Stimulation and Simulation Software **Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\. **Clearance Level:** Secret **Other Important Information You Should Know** **Expression of Interest:** By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\.
