Position: Skilled Labourer - confined space watch

Project Type: Industrial Turnaround

Project Location: Nutrien Cory potash mine

Travel: None available (local candidates only)

Shift: 10 hour Days, Starting at 6:45 AM

Schedule: 5 Days on, 2 Days Off - 10 hours Days

Jardeg is currently recruiting for Skilled Labourers for the upcoming turnaround work with JCL Industrial Constructors at the Nutrien Cory Mine near Saskatoon. At this time, only people local to the Saskatoon area are being considered.

Responsibilities :

• Assisting with confined space entry when required
• Supporting housekeeping, maintenance, and snow removal efforts
• Helping with a variety of general labour duties as needed
• Working at heights when necessary

Requirements:

• CSTS-2020 / SCOT certification (SCOT must be issued within the past 3 years despite its 5-year validity)
• WHMIS 2015 certification (must be issued within the past 3 years per Nutrien Cory's policy)
• CSA approved safety toed boots, minimum 6" height, with internal metatarsal guards (from the manufacturer) will be required
• Fall Protection
• Confine Space Monitor
• AWP
• Completion of a pre-access drug and alcohol test.
• Valid driver's license
• Ground Disturbance

Additional Details:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Shift schedule: 5 days per week, 10-hour shifts, Monday to Thursday, starting at 6:45 AM
• Shutdown schedule will vary, with shifts ranging from 5 days per week at 10 hours per shift to 7 days per week at 12 hours per shift (March 31 - May 9, subject to change)
• Post-shutdown work will follow a 5-day, 10-hour shift schedule until the project is completed
