Williams is hiring a Sheet Metal Fabricator at our Shop in Belgrade. This position gives you hands-on experience with fabricating and assembling sheet metal parts and components using various CNC machines, tools, and processes. 

What You’ll Do:

• Sheet Metal Fabrication: Utilize a variety of tools, processes, and machines to cut, bend, shape, and form raw material according to specifications provided in drawings adhering to project timelines and production schedules, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks and quality product.
• Precision Measurement: Accurately measure, mark, and layout dimensions on sheet metal according to the provided specifications and tolerances.
• CNC Machine Operation: Program and operate a variety of CNC machines, such as shear, power folder, iron worker, roll formers, plasma cutter, and press brake to cut, bend, and form sheet metal into desired components. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Welding and Joining: Assemble fabricated parts using various joining techniques, including welding, brazing, soldering, clinching, fastening, and riveting.
• Quality Control: Make sure finished products meet the required specifications and quality standards.
• Material Handling: Safely handle and transport metal sheets and fabricated components using forklift and/or appropriate equipment, ensuring proper storage and organization. Monitor inventory levels of sheet metal and related supplies, notifying supervisors when additional materials are needed.

What You Bring: 

• Experience: Experience with computer numerical control (CNC) machines is a plus. CAD software experience is a plus. Fabrication experience is a plus. (Will train the right person)
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in interpreting sheet metal flat patterns and drawings, spool sheets, and dimensional tolerances. Ability to operate various sheet metal machinery, such as shears, brakes, punches, rollers, and CNC plasma table.
• Knowledge: Solid understanding of different metals, their properties, and appropriate fabrication techniques. Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques, tools, and equipment. Experience with bend deduction, spring back, and press brake tooling is a plus.
• Precision and Attention to Detail: Strong mathematical and measurement skills. Attention to detail and a high level of precision.
