Company Profile

A global SaaS leader entered Japan last year with the aim to address specific challenges for large Japanese corporates. In light of several large customers in the POC phase they are now hiring their 1st Solutions Engineer (pre-sales) in Japan, to act as the technical ambassador for their platform.

The Role

• Partner with Sales to deliver compelling, localized product demonstrations
• Consult with enterprise customers to design optimal technical architectures
• Lead technical evaluations, integration design, and security discussions
• Own technical responses for RFPs and enterprise proposals
• Act as the technical lead from pre-sales through onboarding and launch
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Partners
• Advise on API integrations, SSO, enterprise systems, and compliance
• Support partner enablement through training and joint implementations
• Localize global best practices to fit Japanese business requirements

Your Skills

• 5-8 years' experience in Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales, Technical Consulting, or Partner Enablement in SaaS
• Entrepreneurial spirit- excited by building something from the ground up!
• Hands-on experience with enterprise SaaS with the ability to articulate the value of SaaS models over on-prem
• Effective communicator superb presentation skills
• Knowledge of REST APIs, web development fundamentals (HTML/CSS)
• Japanese (fluent level); English (business level)
