You will join an exciting and expanding company in a joint venture arrangement to cover all legal matters for their operations in Japan.
The main responsibilities are as follows:
Provide legal support across the Company’s operations and joint venture structure
Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts with external partners
Advise business units on legal matters and support compliance initiatives
Prepare and manage agreements related to the Company’s properties and operations
Support acquisitions and investment activities
Manage outside counsel and collaborate with senior internal management stakeholders

5–10+ years of corporate law experience, with an attorney qualification in Japan or common law jurisdiction strongly preferred
Proven experience managing complex transactions and related documentation
Strong drafting, negotiation, writing, speaking, and analytical abilities
Skilled at identifying and researching legal risks and providing clear, practical advice
Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
