Senior Java Developer Description

Responsibilities

• Monitor, manage, and resolve incidents related to the project
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure seamless handoffs
• Support critical services utilizing the platform to ensure low MTTR
• Contribute to new feature development and prioritization of technical debt
• Provide end-to-end technical design for complex projects
• Advocate for best practices in software design, including scalability and observability

Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience
• Proven track record in at least 2 multi-quarter projects
• Delivered end-to-end technical design for at least 3 projects
• Demonstrated familiarity with decentralized teams and projects
• Expertise in Java, Kotlin, or GoLang
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools and technologies such as Kubernetes
• Knowledge of AWS technologies including EC2, ECS, EKS
• Skills in analyzing and designing complex systems
• Competency in guiding cross-team integrations
• Strong familiarity with testing and monitoring tools
• Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level

Nice to have

• Background in working with service mesh tools like Istio and Linkerd
• Experience with Spinnaker and CI/CD pipelines
• Qualifications in incident management for high-availability systems
