Job Title: Senior Java Developer

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and APIs.
• Lead the development of complex, scalable, and high-performance solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and other developers to gather requirements and create technical designs.
• Write efficient, clean, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
• Implement and maintain RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions.
• Work with modern frameworks and tools like Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Microservices architecture.
• Ensure security best practices are implemented in all solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and assist in their growth.
• Stay updated with emerging Java technologies and industry trends.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in Java development.
• Expertise in Java (8 or above) and object-oriented programming.
• Strong experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security).
• Proven experience with Hibernate/JPA for database interaction.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
• Knowledge of build tools like Maven or Gradle.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Federal Experience is a plus.
