Title: Security Mobile Supervisor

Location: Oshawa, ON

Payrate: $23.34 per hour.

Schedule: part time continental; overnight shifts 7pm to 7am. 

Residence in Canada the past 7 years minimum (for clearances)

Overview:

Allied Universal is seeking Security Supervisor to oversee security operations at our Oshawa sites. The ideal candidate is a seasoned Supervisor having experience in handling challenging situations, good communication skills, willing to work the mentioned shift, and able to manage the job requirements. If you have experience as a security supervisor, enjoy creating reports, is swift in computers and can maintain a high level of professionalism, we'd like to hear from you.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Access Control for the facility/area
• Patrolling inside and outside as required in the post orders
• Ability to operate Security Control Centre equipment/systems, computers, radios, phones
• Ensure that the Facility’s Safety and Emergency Procedures are followed in response to Fire Alarms and other Site Emergencies
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Client Services Manager
• Follow and enforce Site Post Orders for each site posted
• Demonstrate judgement, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
• Meticulous Record Keeping, Report Writing, Observation skills
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Essential Employment Requirements:

• Position is a full time continental rotation. Must have full time availability to work all days of the week and schedules that consist of day shifts and overnight shifts and on weekends.
• A class “G” full driving license is a must
• Residence in Canada the past 7 years minimum (for Nuclear clearance)
• Minimum 1 year Security Supervisory Experience.
• Valid Ontario Provincial Security Guard licence
• Valid First Aid and CPR
• Minimum High school education/equivalence
• Preference will be given to those who have completed Police Foundations or have 2 years of relevant security experience
• Able to take AUS Training Courses: Effective Communications, Crisis Management & Subject Restraint Training as required
