Job Description

As a Security Guard you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all staff and patrons, have excellent communication skills and attention to detail, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Security Patrols: Conduct regular patrols of property and keep detailed reports of any incidents.
• Adhering to the code of conduct set out by the client and site standing orders as per the site requirements.
• Incident Response: Respond promptly to any security incidents, emergencies, and coordinate with local law enforcement when necessary.
• Reporting: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all security incidents, activities, and personnel movements within the facility, and notifying your supervisor of an urgent matters.
• Customer Service: Must be customer service orientated.
• Public Relations: Must have good communication skills with the public, maintaining a professional, friendly and compassionate demeanor
• Training and Development: Coordinate required training for site specific duties needed to complete the job adequately and successfully.

Qualifications

• Experience: Experience in security preferred, but training available.
• Skills: Excellent communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in using security technology and equipment.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks such as patrolling, standing for long periods, and responding to emergencies.

Working Conditions

On Site Security Guards will be required to conduct regular exterior patrols, maintaining a safe environment. This position may require working in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Communicate Effectively: Ensure clear and concise communication with staff, and patrons.
