Salesforce Administrator

Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce and its functionalities, along with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. The Salesforce Administrator will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining the Salesforce platform to ensure its optimal use by internal stakeholders, improving business processes, and providing strategic insights. This role requires a highly organized individual who can work collaboratively with different teams while being responsible for configuring, supporting, and enhancing the Salesforce platform.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Salesforce Platform Management:

o Configure and maintain Salesforce applications, including setup, customization, and integration with third-party systems.

o Implement and maintain Salesforce enhancements, including custom objects, fields, page layouts, workflows, process builder, flows, and validation rules.

o Manage user setup, profiles, roles, permissions, and access to Salesforce applications.

2. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:

o Act as the first point of contact for Salesforce-related issues and provide timely solutions to resolve user problems.

o Collaborate with internal teams to identify root causes of technical issues and implement fixes.

3. Salesforce Reporting & Data Management:

o Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.

o Ensure data quality and integrity within Salesforce by implementing data management best practices.

4. User Training & Support:

o Provide ongoing training and support to Salesforce users to ensure effective use of the platform.

o Create and maintain user documentation, training materials, and guides.

5. Change Management & Release Planning:

o Lead the deployment of new features and functionalities, ensuring proper testing and user acceptance.

o Work with business stakeholders to prioritize requests and changes to the Salesforce environment.

6. System Integration & Automation:

o Design, configure, and implement process automation tools like Process Builder, Flow, and Workflow Rules to streamline business processes.

o Manage and support Salesforce integrations with other business systems, ensuring seamless data flow across platforms.

7. Security & Compliance:

o Implement and monitor security measures within Salesforce to protect sensitive data and comply with organizational and regulatory requirements.

o Ensure regular audits of system configurations, user access, and data integrity.

8. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:

o Collaborate with various teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service, to understand their needs and enhance Salesforce functionality.

o Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features and best practices to ensure the platform is used to its full potential.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Experience: A minimum of 7-8 years of experience in Salesforce administration, with hands-on expertise in managing and configuring Salesforce environments.

Salesforce Certifications:

o Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201) [Mandatory]

o Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator (ADM 211) [Preferred]

o Additional Salesforce certifications such as Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc. will be an advantage.

Technical Skills:

o Deep understanding of Salesforce administration, including user management, data management, automation, and security.

o Proficiency in tools like Salesforce Lightning, Process Builder, Flow, and other Salesforce automation features.

o Experience with Salesforce integration with third-party systems.

o Solid knowledge of report and dashboard creation.

o Strong command of Salesforce data import/export tools (Data Loader, Data Import Wizard).

Soft Skills:

o Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

o Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

o Ability to train and support end-users.

o A proactive, self-starter with a strong attention to detail.

o Excellent time-management and organizational skills.

Other Requirements:

o Proven track record of managing Salesforce instances in large organizations.

o Experience in Agile project management or working in Agile environments is a plus.

o Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Experience with Salesforce Developer Console and APEX (basic coding knowledge).

Familiarity with integrating Salesforce with other business applications (e.g., ERP systems).

Experience with data migration and data cleansing activities.

Knowledge of Salesforce Communities or Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) is a plus.
