Job Description
Are you an experienced UX Designer with a passion for service design, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven design solutions? Our client seeks a UX Designer to lead user experience and service design projects end-to-end, delivering high-quality digital and in-person service experiences that align with strategic goals and meet evolving client needs.
You’ll drive service blueprinting, user journey mapping, UX prototyping and lead collaborative design processes across ministries and partners to ensure inclusive, accessible, and user-centered service transformation.

Responsibilities
- Conduct a preliminary assessment and research to establish a stakeholder map.
- Conduct outreach to establish stakeholder relations and develop an engagement plan.
- Define the problem and establish goals for the strategy’s Discovery Phase.
- Develop and execute user research plans and workshops during the Discovery Phase.
- Understand and document the user journeys, data and pain points in a service blueprint and propose future state options.
- Collect and map user stories to support a future state solution.
- Develop recommendations for pilot projects.
- Contribute to the After-Discovery Digital First Assessment (DFA) submission.
- Other deliverables as directed by management.
Qualifications
Must Haves:
- 6+ years of experience in service design focusing on development and review of experience design projects (including user research, UX design and service design initiatives) end-to-end and develop innovative approaches and alternative solutions to deliver high quality, efficient services and products that meet end user and business expectations and needs.
- Lead or supervise service design activities and deliverables, including stakeholder workshops, research sessions, analysis and synthesis of insights, experience design direction, service design blueprints and service design or UX prototypes which address end user and business needs and are in accordance with established strategy, standards and protocols.
- Focus on experience design projects (including user research, UX design and service design initiatives) end-to-end and develop innovative approaches and alternative solutions to deliver high-quality, efficient services and products that meet end user and business expectations and needs.
Nice to Have:
- Lean certification (green/black) would be beneficial.
- Experience working with design systems and standards.
- Ability to coach other team members.
