Job Description

We are seeking a Automation Developer with extensive expertise in automated test tools, including Katalon, Selenium, Microfocus UFT, and Load Runner 12.5. This role involves designing and executing automated tests, optimizing frameworks, ensuring compliance with Agile, DevOps, and AODA standards, and improving software quality.

Responsibilities
•Identify opportunities for test automation within software development processes.
•Develop, execute, and optimize automated test scripts to validate system functionality.
•Utilize Katalon, Selenium, Microfocus UFT, Load Runner 12.5, ReadyAPI, and J-Meter for comprehensive test automation.

•Conduct API testing using Postman and ReadyAPI to validate service integrations.
•Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for automated testing.
•Perform AODA compliance testing using AXE and WAVE tools.
•Conduct performance, integration, and load testing to assess system efficiency.
•Identify and document bugs, quality issues, and potential software vulnerabilities.
•Work closely with software developers, business analysts, and QA teams to enhance product quality.
•Provide technical recommendations and documentation for best practices in automation testing.
•Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by ensuring test scripts align with business needs.
•Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Qualifications
•10+ years of experience in software testing, test automation, and quality assurance.
•Expertise in test automation tools: Katalon, Selenium, Microfocus UFT, Load Runner 12.5, ReadyAPI, Postman.
•Experience with test management tools: Azure DevOps, Microfocus ALM 12.5.
•Technical skills: API testing, Web Services, Java, .NET, SQL, UNIX, IMS/DB2/Oracle databases.
•Strong knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure).
•Familiarity with AODA compliance standards and accessibility testing tools (AXE, WAVE).
•Soft skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.
