We’re seeking a curious, energetic, and dedicated reporter to join our newsroom!

This is a full-time reporter-photographer position for a talented writer to investigate breaking news and produce compelling stories and features for both our online and print products.

This position requires an individual with strong journalistic instincts, excellent writing skills, and the ability to engage readers through accurate and compelling reporting. As a key member of our team, the Reporter will be responsible for covering a broad range of stories, from breaking news to in-depth features, in a community-focused environment.

• Break News: Cover local city council meetings, as well as provincial and federal announcements and break stories that matter to our readers.
• Dig Deep: Investigate issues and craft compelling feature pieces that inform and inspire.
• Be Everywhere: From community celebrations to high-stakes debates, you’ll be our eyes and ears.
• Engage Readers: Build a loyal following with fresh, engaging stories online and in print.
