Named after our two daughters, we specialize in offering exquisite European children's clothing for both girls and boys, catering to ages ranging from newborns to teens. Our boutique is renowned for providing unique and trendy clothing and accessories, carefully selected to alleviate the stress of finding exceptional outfits. As we expand our reach into Canada, we are seeking a talented French Translator to join our team remotely.

Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled French Translator to translate and localize our content for the Canadian market. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of both English and French, with experience in translating retail or fashion-related content.

Responsibilities:

• Translate website content, product descriptions, marketing materials, and other documents from English to French.
• Ensure translations maintain the original meaning, tone, and context.
• Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to ensure cultural relevance and appropriateness for the Canadian market.
• Proofread and edit translations for accuracy and fluency.
• Maintain a glossary of terms to ensure consistency across all translations.

Requirements:

• Fluency in both English and French.
• Proven experience as a translator, preferably in the retail or fashion industry.
• Excellent writing and editing skills in French.
• Familiarity with Canadian French language nuances and cultural references.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.
