Job Description

We are looking for a qualified reach truck operator for one of our food production facilities in Calgary. This would be a full-time contract in the warehouse, assisting with order picking, forklift operation, and dry-food mix preparation.

Position: Reach Truck Operator
Shift: Sunday to Thursday (see schedule below)
Sunday: 11:00 - 19:30
Monday to Thursday: 12:00 - 20:30
Salary: $21/hour
Location: Calgary, AB (Southeast)

Responsibilities
Operating a Reach Krown forklift for order picking
Taking completed bags of dry-food mix from the machine and stacking them on pallets
Repetitively lifting 20 to 25 kgs (44 to 55 lbs)
Loading and unloading orders onto pallets to be shipped out
Performing general cleaning duties of the working area to ensure strong food safety
Manual order picking and preparing customer orders
Performing shipping and receiving duties

Qualifications

Proven experience operating a Reach forklift
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable standing for up to 8 hours
A positive attitude and good attention to detail
Good communication skills
Must have steel toe boots
Proven tenure with previous employers (2-3 years)
