The Quality Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Responsibilities:

Quality Inspection:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Utilize a variety of measurement tools and testing equipment to perform detailed inspections.

Quality Control Documentation:

  • Generate and maintain detailed records of inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to document and address quality issues in a timely manner.

Root Cause Analysis:

  • Investigate and analyze quality issues to identify root causes and contribute to the development of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address and resolve quality-related challenges.

Process Audits:

  • Conduct regular process audits to ensure adherence to quality control procedures and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide feedback to production teams to enhance overall process quality.

Calibration and Maintenance:

  • Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to address equipment issues promptly.

Training and Mentoring:

  • Train and mentor junior quality technicians on inspection techniques, quality standards, and documentation procedures.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence.

Quality Reporting:

  • Prepare and present regular reports on quality metrics, inspection results, and improvement initiatives to management.
  • Contribute to the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality.

Data Skills/Qualifications/Education:

  • 2 – 3 years of experience as a Quality Technician, with a focus on precision manufacturing.
  • Strong skills in the use of measurement tools and testing equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control principles, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and other relevant quality management systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in quality management or related areas is a plus.
