Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in the North East region of the United States. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes.

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Perform manual and automated testing of software applications
• Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking systems
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and improve software quality
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code quality
• Analyze test results and generate detailed test reports
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium and JUnit
• Experience with bug tracking systems, preferably JIRA
• Solid programming skills in languages such as Java or Python
• Familiarity with SQL and database concepts
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git

Additional Information

Salary : Salary range is dependent on scope of work, location of project, as well as level of experience. This range could fall anywhere between $120k - $175k
