Hays has partnered with a well-known property management organization to search for a strong
Senior Property Manager
to join their team in Calgary. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the management and operation of multiple commercial properties, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards and meet the needs of the tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of properties within the portfolio.
• Ensure properties are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with all regulations.
• Manage tenant relationships, including lease negotiations, renewals, and addressing tenant concerns.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair activities, including scheduling and supervising contractors.
• Develop and manage property budgets, including forecasting expenses and monitoring financial performance.
• Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address any issues.
• Implement and enforce property management policies and procedures.
• Prepare and present regular reports on property performance to senior management.
• Stay informed about market trends and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• RECA designation is considered an asset
• Experience in commercial property management is required
• Experience leading a team is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
