Join Sanofi's contingent workforce program, FLEXT Direct, as a Project Leader II for a 9-month contract. We are looking for a talented individual to fill the role of a Data Scientist. In this position, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions. You will be responsible for developing workflows, automated data pipelines, analyzing large datasets, creating interactive dashboards using Power BI, and staying updated with industry trends and best practices in data platforms and architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Develop workflows and automated data pipelines for data extraction, cleansing, and loading.
• Configure and manage Dataiku including database connections, user management, permissions, workflow maintenance, optimization of ETL processes, system maintenance, and championing new features.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights based on scientific or operational data.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI focusing on embedded analytics, KPI tracking, lean principles, and ensuring data accuracy.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation including business intake forms, data processes, methodologies, findings.
• Stay updated with industry trends in data platforms and architecture.
• Implement best practices for process optimization using Python and scripting tools.

Skills:

• Expertise in Dataiku (v12+ preferred) with strong skills in workflow design and optimization.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, R for data manipulation and analysis.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS & Snowflake), database technologies (ETL), OLAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft product ecosystem (SharePoint, Power Apps).
• Advanced Power BI development skills including embedded analytics.
• Strong infrastructure automation skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science/Mathematics/Engineering with a focus on Data Science/Bio-Statistics/Software Engineering required; Master’s degree is an asset.

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in pharma/healthcare/biotech domains required.

Additional Expertise:

Experience with Power BI Embedded analytics required; familiarity with big data tools/platforms like Snowflake/JMP/MATLAB is beneficial.
