Description

Primary Responsibility :

Manages the development and implementation process of a company’s products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plans and directs schedules and may monitor budget/spending. Monitors the project from initiation through delivery. Organizes the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for new product introduction (NPI), Prototyping, Qualification, and Launch of filter products including Engineering Sample, Design of Experiment (DOE), Prototype Samples’ infrastructure by preparing, and executing checklist, schedules, process & recipe requirements, material specifications, Agile and PCR approvals, and others as needed.
  • Coordinate and engage with internal stakeholders to implement infrastructure changes aligned with evolving business requirements.
  • Ensure deliverables are achieved and maintain infrastructure documentation to ensure they are updated in a timely and maintain first time right.
  • Plan, schedule and execute Technical Review Board (TRB) communications via email and Agile to support the release of new products.
  • Manage, plan, and coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders to execute builds and updates, ensuring timely delivery of the NPI DOE, NTI and Prototype samples to meet project scope, requirements and objectives.
  • Handle life cycle management and NPI activities in Agile system.
  • Oversee, schedule, coordinate, and track the progress of assigned projects, ensuring updates are entered into PPM Pro and meet the project timeline.
  • Support the processing and approval of new part number registrations through to completion.
  • Achieve NPI department KPI’s on-time delivery.
  • Support within the team and deliver tasks assigned timely.
  • Act as a bridge between Japanese and Singaporean teams.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business or engineering is preferred.
  • Experience (1 year of experience or less) in NPI, Development, Planning, Process, Quality, Yield, Project, Training, Test, Automation in the semiconductor or electronics industry are welcome to apply.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Possess problem solving skills, attentive to details, on-time delivery of work assigned and good communication.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills, proactive and able to work in a multicultural team and independently with minimum supervision.
  • Able to perform in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Japanese level: High Conversational or above
  • English level: High Conversational or above

Desired Experience and Skills

  • Experience in project management and planning would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge in basic programming, macro creation & SQL queries, Power BI, data automation would be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge in Agile would be advantageous.
  • Japanese level: Business Level or above is preferred
  • English level: Business Level or above is preferred
  • Chinese level: Business Level or above is preferred
  • Previous experience coordinating with overseas teams.
  • Semiconductor industry experience is highly welcome.
