The Role
Cameco is looking for a motivated, ambitious individual to join the process operations team at Cigar Lake. Reporting to the supervisor, process, your role will focus on ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient operation of Cigar Lakes process areas.

In this role, you will:

Operate circuits as per outlined procedures and guidelines
Identify, document, and report any maintenance concerns to support continual improvement throughout the operation
Assist senior operators as required

Required:  
-Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
-Three to five years of mill or process operation work experience, preferably in the uranium industry
-Industrial water treatment experience
-Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
-Valid Class 5 drivers license
-Strong team player with excellent communication and organizational skills
-Comfortable working both on surface and underground
-Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft

Recommended:
-Level 1 and Level 2 certifications in potable water treatment
-Level 1 wastewater treatment certification

Conditions of Employment:
-Pre-employment substance test
-Class 5 drivers license
