About the Role:
As a PM&R Clinician, you will work closely with interdisciplinary therapy teams within a designated skilled nursing facility (SNF) or post-acute rehabilitation center. Your focus will be on optimizing rehabilitative outcomes, promoting patient independence, and improving their overall quality of life. Position Details:
Location: Waterville, ME
Type: Part-time, W2 (16 hours per week)
Schedule: Flexible hours, primarily between 9 AM and 4 PM, Monday to Friday.
Pay: Starting at $75.00 per hour, with potential for bonus pay.

Responsibilities:
Provide specialized PM&R/physiatry services as a rehabilitation consultant.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes.
Work with primary care physician teams to manage conditions common in SNFs, such as CVA, neurological conditions, and post-operative orthopedic surgeries.
Collaborate with physical, occupational, and speech therapists to improve patient function.
Monitor patient progress in therapy and address barriers such as pain and spasticity.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and bridge the gap between therapy and internal medicine.
Engage in ongoing education and team-building activities.
Ideal Candidate:

Experience in SNF or post-acute settings (preferred).

Qualifications:
Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP/APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) license.
Active Maine license.
Ability to work in the United States.
Reliable commute to Waterville, ME or plan to relocate before starting.
