Business information: Bermont Studio is a photography studio established in 2024. We also provide services for outdoors photoshoots, model and fashion photography, and fine art photography for gallery works.

Job Description

  • Determine picture composition
  • Make technical adjustments to equipment and photograph subjects
  • Operate computers to manipulate photographic images
  • Study requirements of a particular assignment and decide on type of camera, film, lighting and background accessories to be used
  • Take pictures of individuals, families, groups and public
  • Conduct professional indoor and outdoor photography sessions, specializing in model and fashion photography, ensuring high-quality images that meet client specifications
  • Edit and retouch photos using professional software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom) to enhance image quality, including color correction, cropping, and eliminating imperfections
  • Identify and secure unique outdoor locations for photoshoots, considering the aesthetics, lighting, and overall theme of the shoot
  • Provide direction and guidance to models during photoshoots to achieve the best poses and expressions, ensuring a smooth and professional experience
  • Incorporate natural scenery (e.g., landscapes, cityscapes, parks) into photoshoots, creatively using the environment to complement the models and fashion being photographed
  • Capture and produce high-resolution, gallery-quality images using professional-grade cameras and equipment, focusing on fine art standards

Requirements:

Education: Completion of secondary education is required.

Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a photographer is required. In the event that the candidate does not have at least 2 years of experience, then a bachelor’s degree in visual arts with specialization in photography or completion of specialized training in photography in high school, college or specialized training schools is required.

Experience in, or knowledge of computerized photography or digital imaging is required.

Creative and technical ability, as demonstrated by a portfolio of work, are required.

Previous experience as creative director is an asset.

Previous experience with fashion photography and fine art photography for gallery works is an asset.

Computer and technology knowledge: Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop.

Salary: $28.39 hourly, 40 hours per week.

Important information: Flexibility in schedule is required. The work schedule will be from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Work on weekends may be required depending on the business’ needs.
